OUR PASTOR

 

     Thanks for taking some time to visit us today. Life presents us with its ups and downs; peaks and valleys. I, like you, have had my share of both, but it wasn't until later in life that I began to really grapple with who God is to Doug. Guess what I discovered? Doug was the problem.  Yes, Jesus wants to have a personal relationship with you and me, but who God is, is not predicated on what my thoughts on life and His role in it are. It's predicated on who He was, is and always will be; A sovereign God who wants you and me to enter into an abundant life. The questions on how to do that was always formulated by my opinions not on what God's Word (the Bible) tells me.  

     The call on my life is to be a vessel in showing others how this abundant life is attained. Abundant doesn't mean we're promised a lot of stuff. It's not about that. It's about the fullness that lies within the grace that is freely offered to us through Jesus Christ.  

     I hope you will join us in seeking the truth of God's word as we go through the Bible together.
